1) Terms of Service

1.1 Acceptance

By creating an account or using Six, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy below.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be 13+ (or the minimum age in your country). If you are under 18, you must have parental/guardian permission.

1.3 What Six Is

Six helps you discover friends-of-friends, request warm introductions, ask natural-language questions about your network, and—if you post within 6 minutes of the daily notification—send anonymous "ghost asks."

1.4 Your Responsibilities

  • Don't harass, impersonate, or spam.
  • Only upload content you have rights to share.
  • Respect others' privacy (no doxxing, scraping, or non-consensual sharing).
  • Follow applicable laws and our community rules.

1.5 Our Rights

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms and may suspend or terminate accounts for safety, abuse, or risk to the community.

1.6 Intellectual Property

Six (excluding your content) is owned by Anura Inc. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app. You retain rights to your content, but grant us a license to host and display it for the purpose of operating Six.

1.7 Disclaimers & Liability

Six is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive by law.

1.8 Termination

You can stop using Six at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the community.

1.9 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, unless local mandatory law requires otherwise.

2) Privacy Policy

2.1 Summary

We collect only what we need to run Six, help you find mutuals, enable warm introductions and network queries, and improve safety. Contacts sync is required for core functionality. Photos and location are optional. You can delete your account at any time.

2.2 Data We Collect

  • Account & Identifiers: phone number (OTP sign-in), device identifiers, push token, name/username.
  • Contacts (required): access is required to power mutuals and warm introductions. We hash phone numbers and use them to discover mutuals. We do not store your address book in plaintext.
  • Photos (optional, you choose): if you select specific photos (including via the iOS Limited Photos picker), we upload/analyze only what you select.
  • Location (optional): if allowed, we use city/region-level or precise location signals to improve relevance (e.g., who's nearby/in your city).
  • Usage & Diagnostics: in-app actions, device type, crash logs, and basic analytics.
  • Support Communications: messages/emails you send to us (and any attachments, like screenshots).

2.3 How We Use Data

  • Core features: account login (phone/OTP), mutuals mapping, natural-language network queries (e.g., "who's in NYC?"), warm-intro requests, ghost asks, and notifications.
  • Photo analysis (OpenAI Vision): when you choose to upload/select photos, OpenAI's computer-vision models analyze those images to extract tags (e.g., places/activities/aesthetics). We use these tags so your network can query (e.g., "who likes matcha?") and to make more informed warm introductions.
  • Safety & moderation: detect spam/abuse and enforce community rules.
  • Improvement: fix bugs, measure performance, and develop new features.
  • Support: respond to questions and troubleshoot issues.

No ads / no cross-app tracking. We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-app tracking.

2.4 Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share only with:

  • Service providers that help operate the app (e.g., SMS/OTP delivery, cloud hosting, analytics) under contracts limiting use to our instructions.
  • OpenAI (vision processing): when you submit photos for analysis, the images and necessary metadata are sent to OpenAI as our processor, solely to perform computer-vision analysis under our instructions.
  • Legal/safety recipients if required by law or to protect users, our rights, or the security of the service.

2.5 Data Choices & Controls

  • Contacts (required): Six relies on contacts to function. If you don't want to provide contacts, you may choose not to use the service or delete your account.
  • Photos: you control which photos (if any) are uploaded/analyzed. Revoke or change access in device settings; remove uploaded/analyzed photos in-app.
  • Location: toggle permission in device settings; the app works without it.
  • Notifications: manage in device settings.
  • Deletion: delete in-app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or email contact@sixsocialapp.com (subject: "Delete Account") from your registered email/number.

2.6 Retention

We keep data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period (usually ≤30 days), except where law or legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention) require longer retention.

2.7 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No system is perfectly secure.

2.8 International Transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

2.9 Children

Six isn't directed to children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has used Six, we'll delete the account.

2.10 Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port your data, or object/restrict processing. Contact contact@sixsocialapp.com to exercise these rights.

2.11 Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email where required.
